Modern Uyghur Lexis Formation Way

The study to Uyghur lexis' formation can be referred as a basic research , it is significant to the study of lexicology, morphology , syntax , semantics ,and other related fields . Though there are many works and articles on this topic, but still lack thorough study and quantitative analysis. In what has always been achieved , a bold attempt to research methods is made in paper . Grounded on 《modern Uyghur detailed dictionary 》 and 《modern Uyghur literary language orthoepy and orthography dictionary 》, rich material samples and data of Uyghur word formation is got by counted, on the base of which , got more correct and exhaustive observation and analysis to modern Uyghur lexis' formation .The paper consists of seven parts . The first part is introduction , in which mainly stated the significance of studying Uyghur lexis' formation way , its status quo , existent problems, methods and content of study .The second part mainly analyzes the materials which formed Uyghur vocabulary . In this part ,the formation of the root and its productivity is stated firstly , and cleared the proportion of the root in vocabulary , the distribution of innate root and the root from foreign words , classified the root into 4 kinds according to the productivity of the words , described exactly to the productivity of each kind of roots . Secondly , the source and productivity of affix is analyzed , and cleared the proportion of the innate affix and the affix from foreign words , their distribution in parts of speech , classified the affix into 4 kinds according to its productivity , on this ground , made scientific judgment to the position and role of affix in Uyghur word formation .Part three is an analysis to Uyghur derived words , the difference from what has been achieved is that in this paper , short analysis to Uyghur derived word is made...
