The article is consisted of three chapters . chapter two and three are difficult points , and Chinese words connotative meaning is described in the second chapter , in which , the expressing way of connotative meaning and its kinds are narrated . in chapter three , the main part of the article , demonstrated the way of translating Chinese words'connotative meaning . through giving example words and sentences ,stated that connotative meaning's expression can also adopt the usual translation methods to express . from which got a conclusion that : as a subsidiary meaning of the word , connotative meaning also play an important role especially in literature and political essays , for these kinds of writings depend on the connotative meaning to play up atmosphere , mould personage's character and illustrate the landscape .When connotative meaning is translated into uyghur language , weak , powerful or neuter form of a word can be found .analysis shows that emotional meaning's expression usually use literal translation .As the carrier of a culture , in a language's vocabulary , there are plenty of words which reflect a nation's cultural attitude , thinking way , local condition and customs . as an activity owning long history , translation is destined that it is a job dealing with language . on outside , translation is a change between two language sign systems , but it is a complicated process in fact .it's not a matter that automatically translate a word into another , it must consider the thought ,emotion and style of the original works , and try it's best to use equal valued , suitable words transferred to the translated text's readers . its peculiarity destined translation to be different from creative works , but has to create in the frame of the original work , which outweighs the difficulties of translation . no wonder someone parallels translation as"dancing with shackles".No matter what kinds of comments people give on translation , it is still playing an...
