Connotative meaning of a word is attached on the word`s rational meaning,which is secondary but necessary to the rational meaning. They always follow their own carrier and appear in all forms of communication and social situations. It is not only the need of language communication, but also one of the important factors to achieve the best expectation of the communication. Explanations for outpouring of inner feelings, representation of vivid expression, different attitude to same phenomenon, different appearance of same object and specific application of specific concepts and so on, will be find in the word`s connotative meaning.Connotative meaning of a word, not only plays an important role in language communication, but is also very important for the language learners. For a foreign language leaner, it is more difficult to learn and understand about the connotative meaning of a word in an unfamiliar language. Therefore, to enhance cultural exchanges and language communication between two nations, and to meet the people`s need of learning, it is important to do further research and discussions on translating words that have connotative meanings in Chinese. The research result will help people to use words that have connotative meanings correctly in actual language communication.In this thesis, using Chinese literatures including <Wolf Totem>, <Journey to the West>, <The Romance of The Three Kingdoms>, <Everlasting Regret>, <Muslim Funeral>, <The True Story of Ah Q Zhao Yan Nian Illustrations> and some political works and their uighur translation, on the basic of modern translation theory and related theoretical method of connotative meanings of word`s, we do comprehensive,systematic anylysis its Uighur thranslation of the connotative meanings of word`s.The thesis consists of five parts. Part one introduces the background and significance, domestic and foreign research status, research ideas and methods of this thesis. Part two gives an overview of word and its meaning, and also explains the nature of word`s meaning with examples. Part three gives a classification summary of word`s connotative meaning and its reflection and change mode. Part four, the most important part of this thesis, gives detailed explanations about the connotative meaning of Chinese word`s and its all classifications, and also analyses these word`s uighur translation status and methods. Part five is summary of this thesis.
