Content:In the literary landscape of the New Period of China, Li Rui can be viewed as a special existence. As a writer who has an irremovable concern about native China, he persistently describes the "native China" that he has been observing and thinking over, showing deep awareness of guarding and introspection. This "native China" comprises three parts: "political China", "agrestic China" and "Chinese China", which respectively corresponds to the introspection on history and realities, culture and literary language In the course of Li Rui's writing. It also includes Li Rui's profound concerns about our nation and country's modern fate and about the "dual enduration" context of contemporary Chinese writing. And with his special language mode and narrative style, he provides modern Chinese writing with meaningful exploration.
