This paper presents a systematic research on the theory explored by Meyerhold and his creative practice, also including the evolution and development of Chinese contemporary new drama movement. The work is organized of three sections. In the primary section, we mainly note the basic knowledge of Meyerhold drama and survival condition in the Chinese drama environment, as well as the possibility and necessarity of this topic. Next the paper defies the Chinese contemporary new drama movement. Then it sketches and reveals the relationship of Meyerhold and Chinese contemporary new drama movement. The last part states the mechanisms, processes, results and significance what Meyerhold impacts to Chinese contemporary new drama. The way primarily embodies transplantation, emulation, inspiration and local variability. |
