Research On Drama Movement In Taihang Revolutionary Base

On November 8,1937,Taiyuan was defeated.The 129 th division of the Eighth Route Army and the 344 th brigade of the 15 th division of the Eighth Route Army were ordered to advance into the Taihang Mountain Area and open up the Shanxi Hebei Henan Anti Japanese base area,that is,the Taihang revolutionary base area.In the revolutionary war environment,the CPC led the Taihang people to carry out a vigorous drama movement.The red drama took root and grew in the Taihang revolutionary base.In June 1943,Mao Zedong’s speech at the Yan’an Symposium on literature and art was introduced into the Taihang revolutionary base area,which peaked the drama movement in the base area.With the development of the drama movement in the base areas,the performance mode of professional troupes has been transformed,the ideological and political level of actors has been improved,and the artistic level has been continuously improved.Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China,a large number of local opera troupes have actively participated in the development of local dialect and folk opera,and a large number of excellent dramas have sprung up under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.Although there have been some problems due to war,famine and other reasons,they have been well solved and overcome.The drama scripts created in the Taihang revolutionary base area were closely combined with the reality,and the drama level was continuously improved,gradually unifying the authenticity and artistry,which was welcomed by the people in the base area and played a role of publicity and mobilization.The drama movement in Taihang revolutionary base area publicized the policies of the Communist Party of China,promoted the construction of the base area,greatly promoted social integration,changed the social atmosphere,changed the cultural outlook of the whole base area,and promoted the development of drama while protecting the inheritance of drama.Its valuable experience is especially worthy of our serious study and promotion.
