The foundational hypotheses of Draw-A-Person test believes: drawing is a cognation and catharsis process of painter; at the same time, painting is also a symbol of the drawers'psychology This research summarized the development of DAP test in the field of evaluating intelligence and emotion, and reviewed cross-cultural investigation of DAP test.This research aimed to develop a scale of evaluating pre-school children's emotional and behavioral disorders. By analyzing the results of other investigations in DAP test, 62 items were chosen here.248 children from three kindergartens in SuZhou and their parents were given to the scale of DAP test and Child Behavior Check List (CBCL) separately. The validity of DAP test was tested by using CBCL as the criterion scale. And the reliability of it was tested by using One-facet Crossed Design of Decision Study in Generailizability Theory(GT). Finally, two cases were presented illustrating diagnostic value of DAP test on pre-school children's emotional and behavioral disorders. The research suggested:(1) The DAP test has good reliability and validity.(2) The DAP test can valuate the pre-school girls'emotional and behavioral disorders on a certain extent.(3) The DAP test can valuate the pre-school boys'emotional and behavioral disorders on a certain extent.
