MuYa Tibetan Groups reside in the eastern edge of Tibetan and Yi Nationality Corridor, which have strong particular characteristics. As the branch of Kang Tibetan, it is attended by academia for their extraordinary language, custom and culture until the end of 19th century. For the difference of tongue, MuYa Tibetan area have two part. One is east dialectal area, the another is west dialectal area. Until today the ethnography and correlation studies of Tibetan Groups in east dialectal area still overlooked in academia. However, it will change this situation, and benefit greatly the in-depth study of people within Tibetan and Yi Nationality Corridor if some study for this group will be done.This paper will describe and analyze the origin of MuYa Tibetan from the two ways of historiography and ethnography on the basis of using the field investigation of MuEr village, and with the help of Chinese and Tibetan historical materials, and researchers' thesis. The study will talk about Mi nYag, MuYa Tibetan and MuYa Tibetan who lived in the east dialectal area.This paper have five part. The first one is "preface ", which will illustrate briefly some issues such as the meaning of the selection of subjects and the study situation. The second part will unfold the cultural shape of Tibetan Groups in MuEr village by using the materials of investigation and some paper. The third part will mainly use Chinese and Tibetan historical materials, and researchers' thesis to show a more complete understanding of the history evolution of MuYa Tibetan Groups.
