The Study On Li-Kai Associative Compounds Characters

Chinese characters is a symbol system that recorded Chinese, which carried the civilizations of Chinese Nation. It is also the one of the most ancient characters that has several thousands of years history in the world.Associative compounds (Hui Yi) is one of the Chinese traditional character-making methods of Liu Shu (the six categories of Chinese characters, self-explanatory characters, pictographs, pictophonetic characters, associative compounds, mutually explanatory characters and phonetic loan characters). Associative compounds characters has centralized to embody the Ideograph Nature of Chinese characters. like"体"(body),"孬"(bad),"尖"(sharp) etc,is still existed in Simplified Chinese characters. But the study on this type Characters especially about Li-Kai associative compounds characters can't arouse our adequate appreciate. With collecting associative compounds character, we analyze the causes of associative compounds character-making, developing and etc.The paper is consisted of text and appendix.
