The paper attempts to have a deep analysis on this local type of drame's art features.The whole thesis falls into four parts except the introduction and conclusion.Part one gives a brief studay of the source.Through a brief translation of so many arguments on the source to have the result that the Music for voices which can take form and be being perfected could be on kinds of reasons.Part two make a detailed study of the voices music of Huaibang with the measure in traditional Chinese music,melody,mode and morphology of music.Combining with some scripture arias of Huaibang to make people experiencing immediately of this old drame's artistic charm when they are rationally keeping abreast of the features of its music such as the features of melody whose beginning pitch compare with the end is high and mode whose tonic have a different change in the same aria. In addition,this part also give a simple introduction with some important auxiliary element such as the spectacle in civil and military,the plate with melody,the Sutra of gongs and drums,the spoken parts of a Chinese opera.Part three give a emphasized analysis on the peculiarity of its sing in performances.Including the dialect and intonation and the applying of tune. Then presenting briefly for different tune between east and west of Jiaozuo.Enumerating respectively the representative figures and their characteristic ,the leading operas.Part four draw a specific lesson from analyzing the rise and decline history and the present situation about the development of Huaibang.Combining my view and field survey on it to give some suggestions for its development in future.
