The study of TB (teacher beliefs) has received much attention in recent years, and has become part of the process of understanding how teachers conceptualize their work. Some scholars come to the agreement that TB are resistant to change and the earlier a belief is incorporated into the belief structure, the more difficult it is to alter (Abelson, 1979; Munby, 1982; Nespor, 1987; Rokeach, 1968; Florio-Ruane, S. & Lensmire, T.J. 1990). And beliefs about teaching are well established by the time a student gets to college. It seems that beliefs about teaching are difficult to change in the adulthood or a student's college life. However, others hold that belief systems are dynamic and permeable mental structures, susceptible to change in light of experience. The relationship between beliefs and practice is also not a simple one-way relationship from belief to practice, but a dynamic two-way relationship in which beliefs are influenced by practical experience (Thompson et al., 1992).Based on the latter point of view, most of TB development researches have focused...
