A Research On The Professionalized Art Criticism In The Contemporary China

Looking back and reflecting upon the changes in Fine Arts of the contemporary China and the actions of art criticism, what needs to be worry about is the deficiency of professionalization in art criticism. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to explore and construct the critical theory and the practical mode for the professionalized art criticism and to cultivate and improve the quality of practitioners in art criticism. And this is of great academic and realistic meaning to the perfection of the cultural organism and the practical mode of Chinese art criticism, to the construction of the contemporary Chinese art history as well as to the positive changes of the Chinese art. This dissertation, by the employment of literature review, observation, logic, aesthetics, etc., analyses comprehensively the historical meaning of the rise and practice of art criticism in China ever since the "85" art tide of the 20^th century to the present, suggesting that to research and construct the professionalized consciousness and theory for art criticism is what now needs to be done. This dissertation also points out that we should explore how to secure a critical mode for the academic connotation and quality of art criticism on the basis of art categorization so as to help cultivate original artists and new art works, to improve and promote the national artistic management system, to enhance the public's understanding and tolerance of contemporary artistic actions, to promote the cultural quality of contemporary art and the international exchange in the field of art. All in all, this research thinks that the present China and its future need the promotion of the professionalized art criticism and the professional cultivation of practitioners in the field of art criticism.
