As an important female ci poet in the middle of Qing dynasty, Wu Zao is special for her own creative style and substance, as well as her personal experience and time background. From this point, this thesis takes Wu Zao's ci poem as the point of penetration, through the analysis for the content and style of her writings, family background and personal characteristic, the similar and differential way compared with other female ci poet previously, and her societal activities to look for the factors that influence her creation. This is not only a sort out for the historical source of Wu Zao's ci poem, but also a consideration for her evolution course of her thoughts as well as creative and thinking ways as the representative of female litterateurs of Qing dynasty. At the first part of this thesis, it analyzes the creative style and content of Wu Zao's ci poem, generalizes the "love" and "melancholy" as the key words of her writings, especially emphasize the "melancholy", in that case, this part analyze the different "melancholy" in two period which is the period of writing Hua Lian Ci and the period of writing Xiang Nan Xue Bei Ci. Meanwhile, this part summarizes the four creative style of Wu Zao. As to the second part of this thesis, it is from the own personality aspect to analyze the factors that influence Wu Zao's writing. These factors include her family background, her characteristic, her composition and her thoughts. Concerning to the third part, it analyzes the similarity of Wu Zao and Zhu Shuzhen in marriage experience and personal feeling. From the understanding and identity to Zhu Shuzhen which expressed in Wu Zao's ci poem, the thesis discusses the factor "similar feeling" which the previous female litterateurs bring to Wu Zao that influences her wrings. The forth part is from the aspect of time background, through the sort of Wu Zao's societal activities to look for the content and specialty of female litterateurs' society in middle Qing dynasty, and then to find the time effect in Wu Zao's writing, and from which to discuss the contradiction of the time and her own aspiration is another factor that influence her writing. This thesis not only a complete and systematical investigation in Wu Zao's creative motivation, but also a thorough investigation in the contradiction of female and literature, female and time which reflected on Wu Zao.
