This article takes the female marriage data recorded in the epitaph of Liao Dynasty as the research object,and makes an analysis of the marriage and family problems of the Liao Dynasty women with reference to other handed-on documents.The author has carefully read nearly 200 epitapes of Liao Dynasty,138 of which have records of Liao women,this article focuses on this and combines historical materials to explore the marriage problems of women in Liao Dynasty.The introduction part introduces the origin and significance of this study,as well as the research status of related issues.It also includes the relevant questions about the statistics of the epitaph and the study of the epitaph needed in this article.The first chapter,according to the epitaph data,combs the marriage age of the Liao Dynasty women,analyzes the characteristics of the marriage age of the Liao Dynasty women,and compares the marriage age of the Liao Dynasty women with the marriage age of the Tang,Song,Jin and three dynasties.The second chapter,according to the epitaph material,analyzes the marriage concept of Liao Dynasty.In the process of marriage,people at that time choose the standard and concept of wife.The marriage of Liao Dynasty attached importance to family,attached importance to the moral cultivation of women,attached importance to the beauty of women,and attached importance to the cultural quality of women.Among them,the marriage concept of family and family was very popular,which was the main concept of marriage in Liao Dynasty.It is also the main discussion and analysis of this paragraph on the one hand.The third chapter,according to the epitaph data,examines the married life and female life span of Liao Dynasty women.After marriage,women's identity has changed,such as having wife,daughter-in-law,mother and so on.At the same time,they have also assumed the responsibility of filial piety,helping the husband,raising their children and running the household industry,which is the main focus of women's married life.It can be seen that women's married life is dominated by the family.In addition,according to the epitaph data,the average life span and death peak of Liao women were obtained.
