This thesis aims to analyze two sentences with ge from the perspective of subjectivity and subjectivisation. The sentence "ba+ge" has a special pragmatic meaning: it makes the speaker assess the happening for which he feels unanticipated and surprised. This meaning is caused by ge, which emphasizes the expectation and the contradiction between it and status quo. Expectation comes from the speaker's cognition. When the result contradicts this cognition, the speaker may feel unexpected and make assessment. So ge' s property of counter-expectation induces the subjectivity of the sentence "ba+ge".There are two auxiliary words de and ge in Chinese. They are complemental in syntax function. The complements after ge always manifest large magnitude, and show high subjectivity. In contrast the complement after de is an argument of action, and shows high objectivity. The structure "V+de+VP" always correlates with past tense, while the structure "V+de+VP" correlates with perfect tense and subjunctive mood.Grammaticalization always happens with subjectivisation simultaneously. Our studies of the two sentences with ge testify this theory. During the grammaticalizaion of ge, sentences with it boost up in subjectivisation. So although these two ges are different in Grammaticalization trace and grammatical function, they can be categorized as comprehensive one in the perspective of subjectivity and subjectivisation.
