THOG problem is to explore people's deductive reasoning, is an example of psychological process. After THOG problem being put forward by Wason, whether Wason. P. C, Brooks. G. P , Newstead. S. E and Griggs. R. A' research on it, or Girotto. V., Legrenzi.P and William. P. Needham' s, although they all analyzed the mistaken reasons for THOG problem and got a large sum of valuable results, these reasons do not affect respectively, the more fundamental reasons for subjects' mistakes have not been exposed. So, there should have more analysis on the sources of THOG problem mistakes. Furthermore, tons of researches on THOG problem put out many useful information about psychological operating processes when people make reasoning. But, it has not gone out of reasoning field when analyzing the obstacles of solving THOG problem, namely, the sources of mistakes. this paper used randomly group test design , and justified that the number of assumptions of subjects has significant influence on answering grades. In addition, in past THOG problem researches, the solving mode of assumptive deductive reasoning can be easily started-up so that it became a major judgment process. But it also can easily be influenced by other factors, so the subjects can make mistakes easily. The solving mode of insight can't be started-up easily, as it being stated-up, scarcely be influenced by other factors, so can solve THOG problem quickly.
