Wu Zao (1799 - 1862), the word Pingxiang, who was born in Renhe, Zhejiang province, ancestral home Huizhou, lived in the Qing Dynasty of the late leaf time. Her natural disposition was intelligent, deeply doted on her parents, and had accepted the good cultural education. In the region culture atmosphere, as the other inner chamber females, she started to crave in the literature creation, and liked composing a poem in response to one received mutually by the poetry with the multitudinous writers, the talented women. Besides the introduction and the conclusion, this article is divided four parts to carry on the systematic discussion about Wu Zao and her works.First chapter states Wu Zao's family and her friends. Second chapter analyzes author's point of view through the work: her created profession experienced her awakening of the individual life consciousness, the conflict between the innermost feelings and the outside, the comfort from the contact, the disillusion of her life ideal and her pursue for the indifferent mood these five stages. In this more than 20 years creation, she grew gradually from the uneven young girl who was full of enthusiasm to the mature female who pursued a quiet, simple life. In her life, what let her obtained the comfort was, through unfolding the literary talent, to some degree, she obtained some enlightened people's approval and the encouragement in that time, which had realized her academic honor hope; at the same time, she had known quantities of female court attendants, writers, which widened her field of vision, enriched her monotonously, cramped life. The standard ethics doctrine as an official dominant thought, which limited the feminine thought ,words and deeds, has created her marriage misfortune, but that emancipation of man's individual character ideological influenced the female since the latter Ming dynasty, urged their self-awareness to awaken. This had been doomed actually the contradiction that couldn't be settled between Wu Zao and the society. In order to comfort her hopeless mood, she chose to concentrate her attention on the Buddhism in the latter half of her life. However, she had never get rid of the depression and constraint.
