The teaching of Chinese vocabulary for foreigner is of importance in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. This thesis mainly studies the meaning and teaching of disyllabic nouns included in Rank outline of Chinese vocabulary and Chinese character and Chinese teaching material for foreigners. In this paper, the motivation relation between morpheme and noun meaning is studied systemically, the influences that culture imposes upon the noun meaning are analyzed, and the dynamic changes of noun meaning under context also are investigated, in the last, questions such as synonym and disyllabic nouns are studied. The purpose of this paper is to develop the research and teaching of noun thoroughly and to advance the teaching of Chinese vocabulary for foreigner.The thesis is composed of four segments chapters: The first chapter mainly expounds the goal and significance of the research of the disyllabic nouns meaning in TCFL, and simply introduces the research scope and the duty of this article. The second chapter elaborates how to grasp the static meaning of disyllabic nouns from the angle of motivation analysis inside and outside word.
