Play-spirit is one of the most prevalent topics among the contemporary literary art theories. This thesis, with the introduction to the developmental history of game art theories, aims to analyze the tie between game and art (especially that of game and musical art), .finally, concluding that play-spirit is esthetic spirit of the musical education as well as that of the children literature. Herein, chronological and documentaries ways have been resorted to. It counts a great deal for advocating the theoretical and practical values in the musical education to succeed, learn from and disseminate the play-spirit embedded in the ancient and contemporary world. This paper, from the perspective of esthetics, illustrates the subjectiveness and educatedness of the play-spirit existing in the musical education; play-spirit is of freedom, sur-utility, ecstasy, enterprise, cooperation on equal footing, and active participation.
