Since the mid-1970s, the western capitalistic society had been gradually exceeding into the Post-industrial society. Because of the transformation period of the society, the grave polarization was appeared, and the social opposite movement of the left-Wing met the fatal frustration. Some scholars began to demurred at the basal creed and strategy of the traditional Marxism. At the same period, the raise of the "Post-Modernism" offered a brand-new theoretical analysis terrace for criticized the traditional Marxism. The British ideologist Laclau & Mouffe's "Post-Marxism", which is the important results of these theoretical attempt. They put forward to regard the "contingency" as the core concept, with "articulate" for basic means of the "discourse" analytic theories, and to deconstruct the "economic determinism" and the "classical determinism" inside the traditional Marxism. In their opinion, the socialistic movements under the traditional meaning can't be confine as the struggle which proletariat resist the bourgeois, but should pass the diverse democratic claim to resist the capitalist system, and to realize the socialism by the manner of "radical democracy".In Chapter 1, the thesis firstly reviewed the direct origin of the "Post-Marxism": Gramsi's "hegemony", Altusser's "Ideological State Apparatus" and "plural determinism", and Poulantzas's "the national view of the structuralism". Pass their "genealogist" analysis to point out their meaning and the inspired meaning for the theoretical construction of the "Post-Marxism". The front two section of the Chapter 2 respectively analyzed the two core concepts within the construct process of the "hegemony": "element—articulate" and "contingency". The third section deduced the discourse logic of the " Post-Marxism" in the context of the "Post-Modernity" by unscrambled Laclau's text, then to tallied up of the relation between the"hegemony" strategy and its opposite "non-classical" ideology. The last Chapter was the critical summary of the" Post-Marxism ". The first section showed the limited of discourse analysis scope by analyzed the "Post-Marxism" position of the'Tost-Marxism". The second section pointed out the misty and ambiguous position of the "radical democracy" through the analysis of its actuality struggling strategy. The Third section educed the final conclusion that the "Post-Marxism" is just only a kind of political image based on the position of the "Post-Modern", some important concepts of the traditional Marxism still need a fresh examining.
