Talk About The Theory Of Hegemony Of Laclau And Mouffe And The Characterisitcs Of Their Post-marxism

In the traditional theory of Karl Marx, the death of the capitalism and victory of the proletariat are inevitable events guaranteed by the law of historical development. However,along with the end of the capitalism depression from1873 to1896 and the ensuring boom lasted until 1914,the” general crisis of capitalism” became an uncertain prospect. In the capitalist system, the properly adjustment of the relations of production led to the division of the working class which didn't developed as the prediction by the law of historical development to be unified. Because of the serious disconnection between theory and practice, the "the crisis of Marxism " came in 1898.Hegemony came into being in the crack of the necessity. In the traditional theory of Marxism, Hegemony is just a strategy in order to meet the needs of the crisis. In Laclau and Mouffe's opinion, it seems that it will fall into the dualism of the necessity and contingency which can not solve the problem. On the basis of deconstruction of the traditional doctrine of Marxism, they constructed their own Hegemony theory, giving it new meaning.Since the publication of the "Hegemony and Socialist Strategy: Towards a Radical Democratic Politics" by Laclau and Mouffe, criticism and praise came in flocks. Some people thought that they developed the theory of Marx,the others insisted that their theory is contrary to it. Laclau and Mouffe claimed that they were Marxists,they were in the field of post-Marxism,which containing the parts of post-Marxism and post-Marxism. The post-Marxism character mainly reflected in their deconstructing of the main catergories of the theory of Marxism,such as the economic determinism, the dictatorship of the proletariat and the concept of the sutured society etc.And the character of post-Marxism mainly reflected in their absorbing of the resources of the thoughts of traditional Marxists.They are post-Marxism from the perspective of theoretical origin.
