Analysis On Language Policies In Malaysia And Indonesia

Indonesia and Malaysia are the two countries with many similarities, having the same language, race and religion. The purpose of the study is to analyze the development and the latest states of language policies in Malaysia and Indonesia comparatively.The main findings of this study are shown as follows: Firstly, the development of the language policies which are measures taken by the government as a response to situation is ,with no exception , influenced by the national political, socio-economic and ethnic reality of the country. Secondly, we should enhance our Chinese language teaching spreading jobs in Malaysia and Indonesia as Chinese language has got a new stage in both of Malaysia and Indonesia.
