The Study On The Female Social Life And Female Consciousness In The Republic Of China

Sociality is one of the most important parts of the life, and an existing way of human being. While in the two-thousand-year feudalism traditional society, male power consciousness controlled the world, female were deprived the Freedom, the politics rights , the economic rights , and the cultural rights, they lived at the bottom of the society, and had no right to join in social communication in public. Until to the early modern time, the western ideology affects the East little by little. With the introduction of the western feminism theory, the long-deep-sleeping female consciousness was awaken and the female began to burgeon the consciousness of the equal right and freedom, personality liberation, and the public sociality life between the male and the female, then , the modern female's sociality life had begun.It studies the female sociality life of the Republic of China .It describes the female sociality life of the Republic of China totally, and at the same time , it tries to analyze the change of female consciousness . The change of female sociality life in the Republic of China not only pointed to the change of their social behavior and life style, but also a kind of deep culture change of heart and consciousness . So from the female perspective and by the theories and methods of History, Sociology and Women Studies , with the foundation of the former research, it tries to study the women's sociality life, that is the activity in the public space, especially those women who lived in the urban in the Republic of China. It tries to expound the female sociality life in the Republic of China, and at the same time, tries to explore the course of female consciousness in order to comprehend better the course of women's liberation, and draw the experiences and lectures in order to promote the development of female consciousness, and boost the construction of society of male and female in harmony.It divides six parts to research the social life of the female in the Republic of China. Firstly, it introduces the initiation of the modern female's sociality life and expounds its background from three aspects, which are the life situation of women's traditional common social space, the introduction and enlightenment of early modern western feminism theory, and the intellectuals'advocation of public sociality in the 20th century.
