The Researches Into The Aesthetic Characteristics Of Yuefu Poems By Bao Zhao

In the history of poems during the Southern Dynasty, the creation of Yuefu poems by Bao Zhao demonstrates brilliant splendour. The achievements on the researches into his Yuefu poems, which the researchers have researched from the writing time, the content of thought, the forms of art and so on, have been elegant after so many scholars made efforts. However, the relative statements on the researches into the aesthetic characteristics of Yuefu Poems by Bao Zhao are not much. And in consideration of some questions which I think need to be further clarified and developed, I called it "research".Firstly, classify Yuefu Poems by Bao Zhao. According to the main contents of the poems, we can classify them into four types,which are love poems in a flowery style, poems about frontier fortress, dirges and poems on stating one's views or praising something, and introduce them briefly.Secondly, analyse the aesthetic characteristics which are implied in those types of Yuefu Poems and point out that they are the reflection of the poet's strong feelings, whatever type the Yuefu Poems belong to.Thirdly, analyse the reasons for forming the aesthetic characteristics from the following four sides: the origin and development of Yuefu Poems, the close relations between the times of Yuefu Poems and the author's life experiences, the rulers' advocacy to Yuefu Poems and the influence of the poems upon folk literature and upon cultural trend.Lastly, by the comparison with the aesthetic consciousness on literature ofthe Southern Dynasty, get the similarities between them and give more reasons by concrete examples that the scholars of the Southern Dynasty carried on Yuefu Poems.To sum up, from a new angle of view and using a research way of comparison, this essay's author explores the origin of the aesthetic characteristics from Yuefu Poems by Bao Zhao, compares the aesthetic characteristics from Yuefu Poems by Bao Zhao with the aesthetics consciousness on literature of the Southern Dynasty of the same times and developes the similarities on aesthetic consciousness between them in order to all-round reflect the aesthetic characteristics and particular achievements of Yuefu Poems by Bao Zhao.
