As a unique cultural group in the 1920s to 1930s, Beijing-style literature enjoys deep independent cultural self-consciousness. Having been an important part in the creation in this style, the essay has been looked down upon and even has been excluded by essayists and critics who viewed political value as a standard. From modern cultural perspective to look closely at the essays of Beijing-style, their art value shows quickly. Owing to its unique aesthetic value, they have played a significant role in the development of modern literature, especially in the development of modern essays. The integration of art, aesthetic and culture marks its aesthetic character and cultural value different from other essays in the same times.From cultural context, Beijing_style essays have constructed a unique cultural aesthetic world through publication, authors and critic. In this article, "brief discussion" is based on the observation and comparison from the three angles through cultural aesthetic perspective, and thus has a bird's-eye view of them. Rather than from the detail of the essays, this paper focuses on the analysis from cultural feature of Beijing-style publication, the formation of Beijing-style essay group, cultural aesthetic connotation of Beijing-style essay critic, to get to a rough understanding to cultural aesthetic feature of Beijing-style essays, from which we can distinguish Beijing-style essays from mainstream literature in the 1930s and to master the unique cultural feature and aesthetic meaning.
