The Point Of Ethics Equlity

By studying equality in ethics, the author thinks that realizing people's general equality needs not only human equality in kind, but also human equality in materials. Equality process indicates in long history people pursuing equality consistently makes the scope of equality enlarge gradually and makes level deepen gradually, but don't realize people's general equality. The reason why people pursue equality is that on the one hand people have the desire for recognition initially, under the push of which, people demand equality between people and also the desire for equality makes people become real people, people prove themselves; on the other hand, because people realize their existence by means of two kinds of production. People live in production and re-production of life and that of materials, which leads division of human existence of kind and existence of individual. From the unity of people's existence to division to specified unity, we think the basis of existence of equality, which provides guarantee for the reason of existence, returning specified and real existence. Equality perfects people's existence and it has possibility for its existence. But realizing this possibility not only needs proveness in theory, but also needs discovering in reality. People are those who are in social structure and who exist in given social relation, so we should study people in specified social structure not in visual people's relationship or in individual life. The author thinks people can realize real and general equality by means of democratic politics and marketing economy—the way of human exchange recognition. But at present the level of productive forces is relatively lower, the means of two exchange recognition isn't fully developed and the division of people existence is eliminated, so the general equality for people is still realized. Only in communism stage of people development, the level of production forces is developed with great extent and the division of people existence is eliminated, people general equality is finally realized.
