Chinese traditional brushwork, with thousands of years'history, has become one of the most striking arts in the world fine arts field. It possesses its distinguished aesthetic value and signification accompanied with its ceaseless development and consummating. The decorating meaning and interest in the painting apparently play the most important roles in the modulation of is particular property. It is demonstrated from the Chinese traditional brushwork history that Chinese traditional brushwork was inherited from Chinese traditional decorating patterns. Although it was divided into traditional Chinese realistic painting and ink wash painting later, two different exhibiting styles, they had essential similarities in the inner spirit aspect that is the mutual, unsegmented decorating complex, which are different in its appearance and strength character. It is a common sense that traditional Chinese realistic painting had a compacted relationship with the decoration while the wash painting, on the other hand, without any relationship with decoration, mainly because of the dependence on the traditional Chinese realistic painting when involved with the explaining the impacting factors on Chinese traditional decorating paintings for a long period. What's more, it is taken for granted that there was even an opposite property between them, which undoubted the misunderstanding toward both sides. In fact, decoration is not the exclusive character for traditional Chinese realistic painting; while, at the same time, it is never excluded and apart from the ink wash painting. Therefore, the research on traditional Chinese brush painting's"decorating implication"should emphasized on its charm, composition, form, color etc.The clarification of the mistake will undoubtedly contribute to the more comprehensive understanding toward this old-line art for us, consequently for its more interactive developed space, which, out of question, will turn into the magnitude impetus for the modulation of unique feature, development and innovation too. At the same time, it will provide the reference for other related artson the grasp and application of decorating aspect.The studying of traditional arts should also be based on the aesthetic aspect for the better appreciation of reason and result, while not limited only on the form and technique aspects. It is the conclusion period at the earlier Qing dynasty, it also the climax period of Chinese classic aesthetics. Ming dynasty is the preparation period for is mature. The emergence of trend of liberation of mind and humanism, representatived by Li Zhi's philosophy, produced profound impaction on Ming and Qing's aesthetics. Brush painting in Ming and Qing dynasty influenced chronically by the Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, it is brilliant achievement attributed to the distinguished painters such as Xu Wei, Shi Tao,Zhu Da,Ren Bonian, and Jin Nong. This paper made an analysis on the decorating character of Chinese traditional ink wash painting, which was showed from the exhibition, implication and reflecting aspects based on the background of Chinese painting's aesthetic point, it was outspreaded from the art of composition, focus nature object and the utilization of colors. It also made an exploration on application of various"decorating implication"factors in the practical creation areas.
