The Major Differerntiation And Analyse On Synonym Of Nouns Of Xun Zi

Xun Zi is the classical work of ancient China. It was finished in book form in the late Warring States (475-221B.C.), the transitional time of history, so it is a classical linguistic material of the Xian Qin Dynasty's Chinese, and also a professional data of studying the history of vocabulary by period. Although Xun Zi doesn't like Zuo Zhuan ,which presents the corpus of Xian Qin Dynasty, it provides us abundant linguistic materials of vocabulary of Xian Qin Dynasty, especially the language condition of middle and late Warring States. It is the link between the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Period and the Han Dynasty. The paper picks Xun Zi as the studying object of synonym of noun, on the one hand studying their differences to present the one silhouette of basic condition of vocabulary of Xian Qin Dynasty, and on the other hand to test and enrich the new differentiation and analyse theory of synonym of old Chinese.The paper includes the following main chapters:Chapter One: Introduce the general studying situation of Xun Zi, and the studying direction, meanings and the guiding theory of the paper.Chapter Two: Pick the 72 pairs of synonym of nouns from Xun Zi to differentiate and analyze, basing on the text of Xun Zi to explain the differences between every pairs.Chapter Three: Choose 7 pairs of the synonym of nouns from Xun Zi, study the using condition in other works of Xian Qin Dynasty from the synchronic and diachronic perspectives and finally summarize their differences.Conclusion: Conclude the gains and loss of the paper.
