Inflexible Pursuance

The writing of the Chinese modern female experienced a changeable course from "person's consciousness" to "female consciousness". After the 80th, the female writing began to depart from the whole literary wave. Wang Anyi's writing played a key role in this wave. My article to study Wang's writing mainly puts in the sexual frame and in the novels and the writer herself. From contrasting the other female narrate with the male narrate, I try to reveal the mould of the sexual images because of the differences of the sexual experience and the human basis. I also try to probe Wang's special understanding towards female consciousness from the differences of the female dream and the natual attribute.Wang Anyi persists in her concern for the female destiny and for the moral thought of the sexual relationship and the mould of the good female images, not only in her male images, her advocacy and examination to resume female nature and the desire and despair of the female mental exchange, but also in her final search for the tenacity of the Shanghai ordinary women, stubborn personality and affirmation of the vigorous and strong vitality and talking system. In a word, the female consciousness in Wang's novels is deeper and more concrete comparing with those which can only call out empty feminism slogans.
