Wang Anyi's Study On Female Identity In Shanghai Writing

Wang Anyi is a unique existence in Chinese literary circles.She has a broad vision,can flexibly control a variety of literary themes,and pioneers and innovates on the road of literary creation with extraordinary grace.With her gentle and delicate brush strokes,she depicts the spiritual charm of Shanghai as a metropolis,carefully depicting women with distinct personalities one after another,reflecting the writer's keen humanistic concern.Wang Anyi,standing in the perspective of rational speculation,devotes herself to exploring the deep relationship between Shanghai and women and its epochal significance,which has extraordinary literary value.This paper will be discussed from the following four parts:Preface: Summarize the review of Wang Anyi's research,put forward the research ideas and contents,and explain the significance and research methods.The first part: divide the female images in Wang Anyi's works into three categories: the images of Shanghai aborigines,immigrants and educated youth.By sorting out and comparing these female images,we can see that the vivid female images in Wang Anyi's works highlight the literariness in the description of daily life and enhance the aesthetic connotation of the novel.The second part: Firstly,it clarifies the concept of identity,and then explores the reasons why women fall into identity crisis through novel texts,from the three parts of the decline of "cultural gap","langtang daughters" lack of sense of belonging and the disillusionment of "foreigners" Shanghai dream.The third part: From three aspects: identity in daily life,urban space and self-identity,as well as Shanghai citizen culture and women's identity,the author writes about city and women's identity.Through the analysis of the relationship between city and women,this paper elaborates how women acquire self-identity in this metropolis of Shanghai.Concluding part: While summarizing the full text,it is proposed that Wang Anyi has formed her own mature creative idea in the practice of her novel creation for many years.Her novel has rich ideological connotation and unique aesthetic characteristics,and has won the recognition and acceptance of many critics and readers.
