Deep Unscrambling Of The Relationship Between Zhou Zuoren And Child Literature

Zhou Zuoren's children's literature theory had gradually been getting valued in the academic circle since 80s in the last century, and was making important progress in the 90s. However, the majority of the research focused on the relationship among Zhou Zuoren and the children, the children outlook and child literature the child literature, and only a little research was made on the combination of Zhou Zuoren's children's literature theory and the practice.From his children's literature theory, this article attempts to re-comb ZhouZuoren's "child standard" children's literature view and his creating theory and practice, which is the combination of child and literature under the instruction of his children literature views. Zhou Zuoren's children literature practice, on one hand, is embodied in the translation, digging, and spreading of fairy tales, ballads, fables, parables, and children plays; on the other hand, it is manifested in his own creating practice, including child psychology and child image, which are dispersing in his other creations —mainly in the prose and the creating of "Child Miscellaneous matters Poem",.Reviewing Zhou Zuoren's children's literature theory and his creating practice, we can see that his clinging to the research and creation of children literature are due to his intrinsic drive, including interest, achievement, missing and shunning from the world. This article holds that the four drives, whether the positive exploration or the passive deduction, are hearted demand for Zhou Zuoren. His unique way of performance of children literature creation practice isclosely related with the contradiction and bulldozes of the four factors. Since May 4th Movement, because of the continual influence and ceaseless aggrandizement of his four intrinsic drives, Zhou Zuoren's research of children study, children literature had been expanding, and had actually become an important part of his self-centered world. His drives, from inside to outside, and from outside to inside, made great contribution to his construction of children world and his clinging to the research of children literature, which together promoted the development of Chinese children's literature.
