TaiLu Town is subordinate to LianJiang County, lies in HuangQi peninsula, which towards the sea except west direction, to abut on FuZhou about 50 kilometers which is the utmost town. It is a staple fishing village of FuZhou region by the reason of its special location. The dialect of LianJiang and FuZhou all belong to the south dialect of the northern part of Fukien Province dialect, TaiLu Town dialect is country accent different from the city accent of FuZhou, it has regular phonetic pattern. TaiLu's dialect vocabulary on the field of manufacture and livelihood is different from the interior. At first, TaiLu dialect has a distinguishing feature in the fishery and it is most special aspect in the dialect vocabulary. The author gets a lot of vocabulary about daliy life through four investigation in TaiLu, from these vocabulary selects about 2300 words that reflect the society and economic life of fishing village. And collects more than 200 common use words , give them explanatory notes or a phonetic notation.In the past , the information about dialect vocabulary of FuZhou region concentrate on the city of FuZhou, though there are abundant vocabulary ,but be short of the vocabulary reflect the country life and fishery .
