Applied-writing is one of the most important parts of the writing. There is a large proportion in writing theory. But at the present age, the research of applied-writing is obviously falling behind literature-writing. At present, the development of applied-writing is better and better, but there is a large distance with the achievements. This article make a study, and point out the challenge of the research of applied-writing at the present age. The paper also analyzes the reasons, and indicates the assignments.
