The traditional way of applied writing teaching has lots of shortcomings; both teaching and learning are not very effective. To improve the effectiveness of applied writing teaching in classroom, to overcome the weary emotional, and to adapt to the trend of quality education, this paper attempts to introduce mind mapping application of pedagogy to the class combined with the nature and characteristics of applied writing. This method implements both teaching and learning as well as undertaking mind mapping application of pedagogy study. According to Tony Buzan's theory, and based on the teaching and practice experiments, it provides theoretical and practical basis for good use of mind mapping application of pedagogy in applied writing teaching class. Through empirical research, the teaching mode and steps of mind mapping application and the main Issues requiring attention and thinking through class have been explored and studied.
