The Research Of General Education Curriculum In Culture Conflict Vision

How to carry general education curriculum through the class teaching, and elaborating it's function of cultivating the "Whole-person", is the "choke point" of general education. One connotative but significant influencing factor of curriculum practice is "culture".Researching on general education curriculum in culture conflict vision, the author chose case study of one course, entering into the class, using class observation to collect research information. Through the description and analysis on plenty phenomenon of the interaction and conflict among culture, the thesis attempt to construct the research frame on culture conflict of general education curriculum teaching from the perspective of the subject and the content of culture. By using the real cases, the author found that there are various conflicts in different degree and quality in class teaching, which between mainstream culture and sub-culture, traditional culture and modern culture, elite culture and mass culture. Relating the feelings and thoughts of teacher and students, the thesis analyzed the effect and value of the culture conflict that influence curriculum teaching. On the one hand, the culture conflict is the motive force to promote curriculum teaching. On the other hand, the communication in class and knowledge instructing seem to be the "two side of a seesaw".Relating living examples from class observation and interview, the thesis illustrated how to influence the concept and tendency of students, and cultivating their critical thinking and creative consciousness. As the reflection of the research, the author attempt to seek the possible way so as to promote general education curriculum teaching.
