Landscape painting from life is the process of the exchange between the painter and the nature, is the artistic condensation and feeling of the painter to the nature, is the experience of the painter to the nature and life. The soul and the inbeing of painting are how to hold the vision state with being life. Painting scenery from life can develop the initiative ability of the painter extremely, and increase the vitality and vigor of the picture. It is necessary to experience the scenery and to pay attention to the man's mood except the skill of the painting. The apperceive and feeling of the soul to the outside are the unignorable spirit of the works when the painter enjoys the scenery.It is obvious to be the undervaluation and misunderstanding of landscape painting for life if only it is comprehended as recording actually and recurrence. In the process of that, not only the painter could feel the vitality of the scenery really but also his observation and his extracting ability are put to proof greatly. For painting, especially for landscape painting, it is not more than enough for you to emphasize its important at any way. The disciplinary function of painting scenery for life can not be substituted for the holding the tone of the light.The works of the outstanding painters at all times and all over the world have harbored sincere passionate feelings and the author's love of the nature. Barbizon original barren scenery made the Barbizon School possible which has the far-reaching effects on the landscape painting. Paul Cezanne took root at home to paint in his old age. St. Victoria of Aix-en-Provence is no more than an unusual southern French scenery, but it gave birth to a great Cezanne. Vincent van Gogh had never been Japan where he yearned to have been, but he found the bright sunshine at the town Arles in southern France, just as Japan. Mr. Wu Guanzhong also wrote "Which scenery is most beautiful? motherland? country?, feelings in deep! " Painting scenery for life is the best means of painters to understand the nature and represent the nature. In the nature, different geographical characteristics are different from the picture shown in the scenery. It shows that the geographical features of the place located the artists are closely related to their paintings. Therefore the Regional Nature of Landscape Painting has become a point of this paper.Outdoor scenery painting is not the Barbizon School painter's invention, nor is the impressionist painter's invention. In 17-century, French painter Luolan did so, but Luolan's created work is "Fictive scenery". In 19th century, the painters of Barbizon School, Impressionist, and post-Impressionist etc. made paintings entered nature. They created a large number of works with different scenery and different styles which we, living people today, regard as valuable treasure. Human make use of their wisdom and knowledge put the scenic art onto the splendid status. They have maken the paean of the nature one by one. This paper studies the formation and development of landscape painting, the Barbizon School which opened up a new path for the development of European landscape painting, analyses reasonedly the regional nature of those west master's landscape paintings, and discuss the development of the landscape painting in China. Based on the theoretical basis and usage for reference of the above aspects, the features of landscape painting in the northeast of China are discussedWith painting scenery for three years to the Northeast Village of China, I accumulate several ten's works and the experience of the sketching and painting scenery. The exhibition of my landscape painting of that was held in 2006 and a related paper was published on The Journal of Jilin Institute of Art. Combined with the practice of painting in the northeast hillside village, it is analysed of the characteristics of the natural landscape and the culture, and it is how to came to accordance of the both mutual supplement with their close relationship in the pictures. Through three basic elements of the colors, the shape and the conformation, it is discussed of the expressive methods the characteristics of the landscape painting in the Northeast Village. The abilities of Painters in the aspects of above three elements should be enhanced and held reasonably by training scientifically, but the"artistic feeling"in the landscape painting is comparatively much more difficult to be had.Artists Zhan Jianjun said : "Painting scenery for life itself is an artistic creation. The process brings up the relationship of people with nature, people with art and people with sublimation. The benefit got from landscape painting can not be obtained from photograph by camera and painting by copying from enlarged photograph. "Love life and praise nature are human's nature". Artists, with their personal special viewpoint, express the feelings to the outside world. Their souls are closer to nature than others. With their unique spiritual feelings and their refined artistic words they express the what, which others want to give expression to but have no the ability to do, and which even exists in the people's subconscious. No doubt, outside scenery in real life do have its objective aesthetic significance, but the work, exhibited the scenery by the painter, always reflects his feelings of that. The outdoor landscape painting make me skilled with the quomodo by which I observe, realize, understanding and reflect the objective things. It is made become a general skill through practice mentally, brain training, eyes and hand training, and they cooperate each other. It enhances the ability to organize picture; enlarges the extension of colors; exercises the sense to color; brings up the understanding of the artistic conception under the painting condition. This paper, to discuss the Regional Nature of the West Landscape Paintings as the precondition, summed up my experience of painting scenery in northeast of China, and I am sure that it possesses factual significance to provide a theoretical reference for the art creation at some day.
