Lao she played all outstanding role in artistic development of Chinese modem novels.After entering the new era,the people have had many achievements on Lao she's personality and his works.But they often ignore his mundane emotion and cultural self-identity that comes from it.From the civilian's angle of view and on the basis of former researching fruits,this article attempts to get deeper understanding of Lao she'S psychic and creative world in order to make new research and attempts.The civilian's consciousness of Lao she in this article means that he described a hard and painful condition of poor people in a city and expressed one kind of living style that was accepted by civilians.For him,he intended to express the living condition of civilian's daily life,which is a kind of natural expression of his value.In his works,he focused on describing poor people and their the most basic living conditions and exactly expressed the original status of civilian's lives.In this article,the author the idea mentioned above from three aspects:The first section iS to discuss the behaving styles of the civilians'awareness in novels with combination of Lao She's major works,and to excavate them from molding of civilian'S image,deep concern for civilians, usage of civil language and popular narrative style.Lao She shows the most common life of Beijingers by the description of ordinary people,ordinary things and the mass Psychology.He describes Beijingers with a civilian attitude.This is a measurable difference from any other famous writer.He doesn't identify himself as a well—known writer.Rather,he always gives people a sense of a harmonious friendliness.His''public world"encompasses virtually all aspects of the life aspects in the modem public class.This expresses Lao She's knowledge accumulation to this class.Lao She uses a unique angel of view to observe and show the civilian society.Lao She uses acceptable measures to arouse the reader's feelings and awaken the people's conscience so that Lao She might be enable the readers to have the resonance with the main characters.In this section,I,firstly,state that the emphasis of Lao She's novels is on the description of the miserable life of middle&lower classes and focus on their miserable spirit life and humanity original state.It really expresses thought connotation of all kinds of people and hardship and long.suffering of their lives,analyze character figures of old-style and new.style city people, for example,Brother Zhang,Grandfather Qi,and expresses multi.personalitv of people.This article says that Lao She just truly and artistically expresses the thoughts and living status of old-style city people in China and the instinct of humanness.Here,Lao She wants to show the tendency of opposing the individual and country that oppresses common people,and then, discusses civilian's spirit of the people that he had made up.Secondly,Lao She wants to make himself be a spokesman for the weak in the society.The connotation of civilian focuses on his sympathizing for the weak in his novels.
