Ambiguity is a difficult issue of linguistics, as well as a difficult issue to solve of natural language understanding and machine translation. "N+n+n" is a structure of the cases which may give rise to ambiguity. This thesis mainly analyzes the grammatical, semantic, and pragmatic characteristics of the phrases formed by three noun structure, based on the theory of the potential ambiguity, from the perspective of natural language processing. What's more, this thesis makes a comparative overall study of the Chinese pair of the "n+n+n" structure, which aims at exploring the reasons leading to such a structure ambiguity and the strategy to remove the ambiguity.
