On The Study To ShiTong's Ideas Of History Literature

Liu Zhiji, one historian of Tan Dynasty, paid much attention to the language of historical works in Shi Tong. The thesis discusses the Liu Zhiji's ideas about the history literature completely by bibliographical and academic ways. Paper includes four main parts. First, study Liu Zhiji's conception to the time. We can distinguish the opinion to the language of ancient, medieval, modern historical works, especially, the attitude to modern of the Liu Zhiji by examine the time category appeared in Shi Tong. Second, the article generalizes the key words about history literature of by checking the Liu Zhiji's comments to modern history literature specifically. Third, the thesis interprets the history literature via the language of historical work's style, narration, origin and set out all viewpoints of history literature before Tan Dynasty.
