Shi-Tong is a historiography theory masterpiece with very high value, it open up the road in a Great deal of historiography criticism for our country. All previous Dynasties scholar to Shi-Tong research huge collection of books, too numerous to cite individually. In the half priority of the 20 th century, the research about Shi-Tong which was under the impetus of the new trends of academic presented some new characteristics. The “National heritage sorting” happened in 20 s discovered the morden value of Shi Tong. At 40 s of 20 th century, with the establishment of history of historiography as a discipline, the unique ways of dissemination of Shi Tong once was the important links in its process of ethiccanonization. In this period, the research about Shi Tong presented new change in the discussion of the relationship of classics and history, literature and history.
