Changli Collection Commented by Five Hundred People, compiled and published by Wei Zhong-ju in the intermediate stage of Southern Song Dynasty, was the first annotations of Changli Collection. The book has very highly literature and academic value for the editor collected nearly all the remedying and commenting of Changli Collection of Tang Dynasty and Song Dynasty. To regret, the scholars pay few attention to it and there were much wrong views in the researches. So, this paper takes the book as the research object, induces its method of collection of notes, summarizes its success and failure places and revisions the previous scholars' inaccurate viewpoints by the textual research. The whole paper divides four chapters.Chapter One, basic contents of Changli Collection Commented by Five Hundred People .It contains the codification of Hanyu Collection in Tang and Song Dynasty, the history and cultural background which this book produced, its content and style, edition description and so on. Through textual research the literatures, I thought the provisional editor of Hanyu Collection is hanyu. Annotation of Confucian and Pen Solution of Confucian are two different books, the Four Books of Changli Collection Commented by Five Hundred People is abridge block-printed book while the one hided in Nanjing library is imitated Song dynasty block-printed edition.Chapter Two, textual criticism of Changli Collection Commented by Five Hundred People. Checkup "the Five Hundred Notes" whom displayed in the introduction followed the text content, hook checks the notes which this book actually drafts directs, and induces the characteristic of several important notes that quoted in the book.. Textually researched this book both to absorb the remedying of Han ji juzheng and Hanwen Kaoyi as well as Wendang's annotating and Wangchou's supplement annotation.Chapter Three, the characteristic and the method of Changli Collection Commented by Five Hundred People. Firstly, the editor holds the objective manner and the method is rigorous. Secondly, he inherits the academic characteristic of Han Dynasty and Tang Dynasty that is Phonetic and explanation of words as well as allusions, and absorbs the characteristic of "the song studies" simultaneously. Makes one appreciate is that he only drafts direct the history events to carry on the annotation to the work while does not make the subjective display. Thirdly, the editor collects the material to be comprehensive and chooses the annotations precisely. Fourthly, the editor supplement the annotation where leaks the note or the annotations all inaccurate he thought in the book. Fifthly, he takes the work to arrange the year and choices annotations according to the literary style and Han Yu's work style.Chapter Four, the literature value, academic influence and the model significance of Changli Collection Commented by Five Hundred People. Summary its literature value comprehensively. Analyze its academic influence specifically. Promulgate its model significance to carry on the ancient book crabbing by contemporary scholars.
