| The Poem of Pre-Qin Han Wei Jin Southern and Northern Dynasties (hereafter referred to as the Poem) compiled by the deceased famous scholar Lu Qinli, collected and proofreaded 135 volumes Pre-Tang poems and is reputated as"the richest work with the most elaborate emendation at present"in the academic circles. However, it is unavoidable for such a great work with close to 2,000,000 words, to have some mistakes. Mr. Liu Yuejin has summarized the problems existing in Lu's book in The compiling problems in The Poem of Pre-Qin Han Wei Jin Southern and Northern Dynasties (the article collected in The Draft of Classical Literature and Philology). However ,up to now, nobody has arranged it systematically. This paper tries to analyse the biographies of the writers simplely and amend it item by item so that readers can use and study it conveniently.The Poem embodies 813 writers totally among which 312 short biographis of the writers have mistakes or something losing, accounting for 38%. Among them ,fewer mistakes lie in official history but the short biographies ; The official history, the catalogue works have the record but short biographies don't;And the condition of no punctuation or wrong punctuation ,the writers'sequence being obviously inappropriate, and the style disaccording with Mr.Lu's self-made one and without the final conclusion but Mr.Lu drawing a conclusion hastily etc. is more than excessive. Probably, Mr.Lu made an effort in collecting and proofreading the poem, the short biographies of writers depend mainly onShi Ji and Yan's Quan Wen, and hadn't done detailed investigation or hadn't sorted it.According to the order of the book, this article is divided into six parts——Han and Wei Dynasties, The West Jin and The Eastern Jin Dynasties, Song and Qi Dynasties, Liang Dynasty,the Northern dynasty, Chen and Sui Dynasties. And this is just to trim every writer's life and put forward the suggestion for revision.
