Flowing Deformation Of The Farewell Poem In Wei-Jin, Southern & Northern Dynasties

Farewell is one of the most important themes of Chinese classical poem.In the Southern Dynasties and the early period of the Tang Dynasty,the creative of the farewell poem is at a high level.Now there are 292 pieces of existing farewell poem in the Southern Dynasties and 261 pieces in the early period of the Tang Dynasty.The Southern Dynasties and the early period of the Tang Dynasty are the key period of accumulation,transformation and transition in the history of the development of Chinese classical poem.lt is also of great importance to the coming flourishing age of Chinese classical poem.The same as the history of farewell poem.This paper is to sort out the flowing deformation of farewell poem in the two periods through a close reading of the text of the farewell poems,explain the reason of the occurrence of flowing deformation with historical and cultural backgrounds.Most scholars focuse on a single object itself,or the individual writer’s farewell poem,or the structure and image of separate farewell poem,while researching on farewell poems. Scholars didn’t attach great importance to comprehensive studies of farewell poems in different dynasties until recent years.As for the study about clarifing the development of farewell poems from the history dimension,it ia almost blank.Scholars just specialize in two period,namely the Wei Jin Southern and Northern Dynasties and the middle and late Tang Dynasty.Therefore considering my learning ability,the research topic is aimed at dissecting the development of farewell poems in the Southern Dynasties and the early period of the Tang Dynasty and finding out the evolution of farewell poems by a comparative study on that two critical period. Main significance of this topic mainly has four points。The fisrt one is about the text analysis,because scholars of the past paid little attention to the study of the farewell poems in the Southern Dynasties and the early period of the Tang Dynasty,let alone the study based on the context of poetry itself.The second one is about comparison.The Southern Dynasty and early Tang Dynasty is very close,the former exerts an effect on the latter.So,making a comparison between them can highlight their own characteristics.The third one is about interpretationThis article tries to analyze poetry based on the aesthetic habits of the time and cultural background and explain the reasons for the formation of poetry features,just like explaining civilization in the cultural terms.The forth one is about the generation and development of evolution.The essential of literature research is to find out the law of development of literature. And the research of evolution can help us grasp the regularity of literature development. The fifth one is about trying to fill in the blank,which exists in the monographic research of the farewell poems.This paper divides into four parts:preface, the main body, conclusion and appendix.The introduction mainly introduces the object, the resource of thesis and the innovation and significance of the thesis.The main body divides into five chapters.The first chapter introduces the concept, types, origin and characteristics of farewell poem, and sort out the development of farewell poem before the Southern Dynasties.The second chapter describes the development of farewell poem in the Southern Dynasties and the Sui Dynasty.The third chapter describes the development of farewell poem in the early period of Tang Dynasty.The forth chapter compares the similarities and differences between the farewell poem in the two periods by elements division.The fifth chapter explain the reason of the occurrence of flowing deformation.The conclusion points out the deficiency of this article.Chronology of farewell poem in the early period of Tang Dynasty is added in the appendix.
