In the postmodern context, the meaning of design has exceeded the rational catagories of the products, such as the design of function and exterior form, etc. Instead, it emphasizes the reflection of humanism and the integration of culture. Humanization is the central content of post modern design.Nowadays, as a controversial trend of thought in design, postmodern design is different from neither traditional classical design which focuss on ornament, nor modernized design which is based on conciseness and function. It has increased much more humanistic factors, and more free and open. So it is an ornamental development to modernism and internationalism design, possessing the style of poly-faceted."Post modernism"design maintains non-rationalism, humanism, historicism ,advocates culture, stresses the texture metaphor and ornament, pay attention to public taste, strives for the symbiosis and it usually employs the hyperbole, and banter, etc, showing a kind of heterogeneous and compromised language of designing.Designing served the people, while"humanization"is the eternal theme of design. Post-modernism advocates that the design of art should be based on people, and demands that the standard should always be judged by people'liking. Only in this way, should the design truly serve people. So that it embodies the respect to people, and the product is no longer cold, but an existence of personification. This is the return of humanistic spirit in designing. Post modernism design attaches importance to historical texture, advocates the freedom of personality, and care of humanity. All these above are of great significance in modern people's view.
