Modern Clothing. Morphological Study

The object of the thesis is to prove that post-modernism could change the culture of garment and the form of it. The method are to analyse the reason,background and developing course of Post-modernism and the art of Post-modernism, then make it clear that the effect on both society and human being.The thesis is made up of three chapters. The first chapter analyse the developing course of Post-modernism to define the theory foundation of Post-modernism garment industry. As the developing course of Post-modernism be investigated, the relation between Post-modernism and modernism is to attach mort importance. The relation is complex. Each of them connect tightly and exclusive from another.In the second chapter, the relation between the art of Post-modernism and the art of modernism is as clear as the relation between Post-modernism and modernism. There are inner relation between the art of Post-modernism and human being's ideology.The effect of the art of Post-modernism on people's idelolgy relate garment consumption.The third chapter said garment is the most nearly industry with people's living. Garment could reflect the change of social ideology first. People's ideology decide what they choose to dress up. By comparing modern garment and post-modernism's, there are to be analysed to make forecast of Post-modernism garment design,production and sale.Garment culture will step into a new circumstance when the form of society changes and the thought of post-modernism is more obviously.
