To learn and to teach piano well is a topic widely studied in the history of piano teaching both in the East and the West in the last three hundred years. Owing to different eras and education ideology in the course of piano teaching, various genres and teaching methods have been generated. In the second half of the 19th century, education psychology is gradually accepted by piano educationists and introduced into the process of piano teaching. Until the mid 20th century, the ideology centered on human being is popularly manifested in music works and in music teaching. Quite a few music educationalist and psychologists are carrying out research on how to combine music teaching with psychology.Elementary education is a decisive factor for the success of piano education. In this article, I will discuss how to introduce the content, characteristics and method of ATTENTION ATTRIBUTE into the process of elementary piano education. And we will also study how to make use of ATTENTION ATTRIBUTE to arouse the children's interest in learning piano so as to improve the teaching effect and to balance the growth of children's psychology.In this article, the author is trying to find out the factors which affect the children's attention, through the methods of observation, document research, action study and analysis. The author focuses on the positive role of piano teaching on the cultivation of children's ATTENTION ATTRIBUTE. On the one hand, the author studies how psychology helps piano teaching, on the other hand, the author puts forward a new concept of how piano education affects psychology.This article is mainly divided into three parts:I. Analysis of ATTENTION ATTRIBUTE in the course of piano education and psychology problems encountered in piano teaching. Through analysis of the children's psychology problems in learning to play piano, the educationists clearly understand how to solve problems encountered in teaching piano. And parents will also learn what attitudes should be maintained towards their children's piano learning.II. Introduce the definition and features of ATTENTION ATTRIBUTE. Introduction of ATTENTION ATTRIBUTE in childhood.III. How to apply ATTENTION ATTRIBUTE to improve education effect. In this article, the author emphasizes on how to foster good ATTENTION ATTRIBUTE. The author also points out how ATTENTION ATTRIBUTE affect the internal and external factors in children's piano learning.In the last part of this article, the author explicitly puts forward the concept that piano teaching is closely connected with learning psychology. Only the internal psychology is the most essential. This requires teachers to train the brain of their students besides technical training in the course of teaching. If a child learns piano in a correct way in the course of elementary learning, he will not only rectify ill learning psychology but also lay solid foundation in the development of a healthy psychology and a positive and stable attitude towards life and society—which is a goal of all educationists.
