Views On Unconsciousness Of Chinese Contemporary Print

The word print art began to add new blood to Chinese traditional print art after 1930s, and then there was a new start for Chinese print art. During these years Chinese print went through recovery period, developing period, flourishing period, difficult period and steady developing period. There are different cultural characteristics and aesthetic tropism in each period. New features were shown both in form and content in the first national print exhibition of this century.Chinese print began to be shown in more dimensions but single during style changing for the influence of western contemporary art thought and Chinese local culture especially the psychology class of western art . The"print ontology"aroused the back of print artists'subjective consciousness. They pursued expression of personal words by going against traditional aesthetic concept and plastic picture, and by means of new materials, new media and application of new print methods. Also they began to go deeper in spirit experience field explanation the same time when they began to show pursuit in the surface of spiritual unconsciousness. As a result Chinese print had a well free development of different forms and styles in the arts. My thesis analyses the culture background of unconsciousness in Chinese print creation by discussion about the process of Chinese print development and the contemporary art influence of both national and abroad towards Chinese print. Also it tries to research the unconsciousness and its realistic meaning through psychological point of view. And I try to make up for the construction of contemporary print theory system.Your suggestions are respected for the limitation of my thesis.
