The theory of mind is now one of the most important domains of the development psychology research , and emotion understanding is a important topic of the psychology fundamental research domain. The emotion understanding is rapidly development in infant phase. This research is in the based of the predecessor, and the purpose is to verifying the age characteristic, the sex difference and the overall development situation of the3~6year old children's emotion understanding ability development in our country.This study employs the experimental method. On the participants selection, the children from 3 to 6 years old have been chosen, which comes from public and private kindergarten each, counts 87;On the experimental material, increase the tone expression recording, simultaneously referred to the overseas related design in the foundation of the formerly research material,compiled and checked four kind of situation stories.On the selection of experimental tasks, the tasks being close to the part reorganizes the Denham emotion understanding examination procedure, increases the tone expression experiment design in the emotion label task as well as the emotion regulation task experiment design, systematically and comprehensively discussed 3 to 6 years old children emotion understanding development condition.This research comprehensively study The Development and Research on 3~6 Year-Old Children's Emotion Understanding Ability From the Perspective of the Theory of Mind which includes four levels,including the emotion exterior performance (facial expression and tone expression), the emotion reason understood, the conflict emotin understood and the emotion regulation (emotion regulation strategy).The result indicates that:(1) 3 to 6 years old children facial expression recognition capability is better than tone expression recognition capability. Positive emotion recognition is better than negative emotion recognition. The facial expression understanding and the tone expression understanding does not have the remarkable age and sex difference to the emotion label task.(2) 3 to 4 years old children has already emotion attribution ability, and is logical to the emotion reason understanding following the age increasing. Emotion attribution based on the desire is better than emotion attribution based on the faith. The age and the sex difference are not remarkable, but the age has certain influence to the emotion reason understood ability development.(3) 3 to 4 years old children have not conflict emotion understanding ability, 4 to5 years old children have conflict emotion consciousness, 5 to 6 years old children has certain conflict emotion understanding ability. (4) The obviate strategy use frequency advances gradually and the construction strategy use more and more along the age growth. The age and sex have not important influence to the children emotion regulation strategy, but 3 to 4 years old children the use destructive strategy behavior.(5) 3~6 year-old children's emotion understanding abilityfrom the perspective of the theory of mindis increasing, but there is no significant difirrence. The development of emotion understanding for children is not straightness, and has the task particularity.
