The research of this dissertation is to take the semantic characteristic of"X"when"中"is manifested in sequence expression and the linguistic forms of vacancy in sequence expression as a start to make a systemic study on the theoretical basis of this grammatical phenomenon.The body of this dissertation is divided into four parts:Chapter 0. Introduction:In this part the range and object of study are defined.
