On The Marrige And Love Poems In The Book Of Songs Under The Courtship And Marrige Customs In Zhou Dynasty

The Book of Songs,for the earliest anthology of ancient poems,is the source of the courtship and marriage literature. Studying on it, we can not only admire it, but pursue the situation of people′s courtship and marriage at that time, according to studying the history in it′s time.Using double angles, this article studies the text to testify the courtship and marriage customs in that time and on the other end, studies the customs to testify the poems′true conditions. For this, the article uses four chapters to illustrate it.In the first chapter, we firstly define the extent of the article and we review the study of forebears. Then we put forward our views.In the second chapter, the Zhou courtship and marriage customs lies in the time of the Book of the Songs and it′s the poems′foundation, which we use to testify the poems.The third and fourth chapters are the main part of the articles. They contain courtship and marriage poems of imperial palace and of folk. We firstly illustrate the reasons of their being sorted; then we separately illustrate them. What′s more, what is my own view is that we think palace poems which violates Zhou Li not only contain ancient customs, but contain the new customs in Chun Qiu period. In the fourth chapter, we divide the folk poems in four sorts, which are mainly studied in their differences instead of their similarities.In the end, the article gives a conclusion and prospects its′further study in future.
